Prragathi Steel Castings Pvt Ltd was established in the year 1997, with a vision of becoming leading manufacturer of high quality steel castings for critical applications in India. Prragathi Steel Castings Pvt Ltd is an ISO 9001:2015 certified Co. for the Manufacturing and supplying of Carbon Steel, Low Alloy Steel, Stainless Steel, Nickel Based Alloy, Indian Railways standard AAR M201 Grade E and Machined Castings.
Our company is PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) Certified Co. for Quality Assurance System. Our Company is also Certified for Well Known Foundry by Indian Boilers Regulation.
Our company is well equipped with Moulding, Melting, Heat treatment, Chemical, Mechanical & NDT Testing Facilities and has a team of qualified engineers and Metallurgist.
We are pioneer in manufacturing of Carbon Steel, Alloy steel, Stainless steel and Duplex steels. Company’s main motto is to fulfill Customer requirement with standard process and to supply best Quality parts on time in full.
History of Prragathi Steel Casting Pvt Ltd
Prragathi steel castings private limited, founded in 1997 by group of Engineers and Metallurgists. Our founder Mr. S.Rudre Gowda is a Metallurgist with over 40 years’ experience in Foundry. Prragathi steel castings is spread over 2 acres and is situated in the shimoga foundry hub, Karnataka. It is a leader in the manufacture of Railway AARH coupler castings, As per M201 standard.
- The foundry has full –fledged facility with Induction electric melting, Moulding and Pouring. Post production activities are well synchronized including in house NDT facilities.
- Prragathi’s state-of-the-art steel foundry has annual capacity of 3000 tons of quality steel castings.
- The plant has capacity to produce 10 kgs to 800kgs of individual castings in line with various in international specifications with stringent quality requirements.
- Our team has experience of manufacturing more than 25000 AARH couplers as per M201.
